Here are some of the aprons we wear for work

Clean up on aisle CMA- everyone has to start somewhere, and that is right here. Learning the value of proper cleaning, proper food handling, dish washing, cleanliness of the location and equipment, is step one. Clean up crew is the boot camp of cakes. All employees must start and respect the process and learn the value of this role. Though this is the bottom of the sugar bin type job, the fundamentals you learn during this step create the foundation to a successful future.
Is the customer really always right? Customer service with a smile. This industry requires you to understand and respect others. Wear this apron tight, with all parts within the rollercoaster and get ready for the ride! Your apron pockets must be filled with kindness, patience, and love for people and communication. Your main role is to effectively communicate with customers and create an experience that is sweetly paired with the desserts you are selling to them!
BAKE BAKE BAKE BAKE BAKE- can you take the heat? Baking is controlled chaos, responsible for consistency, multi-tasking, and quality management. This is the pilot you don’t see, the one controlling temperatures, oven racks, flavors, cross contamination and allergy awareness and constant change. This job is not only hot and heavy but fast paced and demanding. This may require flexibility in your schedule, quick adaption to your surroundings and environment, patience and practice. Creating a work flow for you and executing large lists is a big part of your work week.
INTERNSHIP- If you are eager in completing your internship program with the help of Cake Me Away, please submit a form and attach your school requirements to help us better assist you and get you on the right track. Availability is limited and restrictions apply.
The best of the cookie Jar- When you put in the hours and work to make it through the gum drop mountain of sugar tasks, you get to wear one of the following creative aprons to your trade:

Team work makes the dream work

Each individual who works with us provides a positive value and element to our team. Our team strives to bake the world sweeter.

Just as each cake requires specific ingredients to provide a function in the overall cake, our employees contribute to this business the same as ingredients do to a cake!

Each ingredient in a cake provides a layer of support and attribute to make that first bite always delicious and complete.

The ingredients in our team come hand mixed, sometimes stirred or beaten with a special blend of love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, respect, consistency, and commitment to each order.
We are a team built on the foundation of GOoD. We strive for the best in ourselves daily but know we can fall short of an ingredient or two some days.

With grace and patience we strive to limit our cake fails but when it falls, we all fall together. Providing edible art to our community and customers is a team effort we work on daily.

We push ourselves to transparency and honesty when being critiqued or criticized and commit ourselves to work on our failed ingredients to make your custom orders the perfect blend of sweet for years to come.
Sometimes when the cookie crumbles, so do the cookie monsters-Us!

We love to see our hard work executed to vision and standards both our team and customers have set in place. But when the cookie crumbles, so do we.

We aim to be happy cookie monsters and try our best to keep the cookie crumbs at a minimum!

Thank you for understanding and allowing us to be a part of your life story. We celebrate being human together!

Meet the ingredients that make your CMA experience feel & taste great!
